Hand-Building Pottery camp!
Discover the joy of hand-building with clay! In this camp, participants will create unique ceramic pieces using a variety of traditional techniques.
Week 1 – Hand-Building Activity
•Learn the coil and pinch pot techniques to create your own handmade pottery.
•Work with a pre-rolled slab of clay to design and impress beautiful textures and patterns before shaping it over a mold.
•This fun, creative process allows everyone to make a one-of-a-kind ceramic piece.
What Happens Next?
After your Week 1 session, we will:
•Dry your piece
•Bisque fire it
Week 2 – Glazing Activity
Bring your pottery to life with color!
•Learn three different glazing techniques.
•Use pencils to sketch your design before decorating with colorful ceramic glazes and ceramic pigments.
•We’ll professionally glaze and fire your piece, then notify you when your masterpiece is ready for pickup.
All pottery created during the workshop is food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe.
